I was reading the above thread as well as other threads and am now totally confused... do our STOCK e46 M3 NOT make the claimed 333hp?!?! :confused:

That is a safe assumption unless it is claimed to be RWHP.

yeah ive heard the same.

Every motor is slightly different 5-10% more or less 333hp but on average is 333hp...trust me 333hp on BMW is more than 333hp on other manufacturer...check out the real world races on you tube comparing BMW with other makes who are producing more hp...

Yea it can vary between 5 - 15% loss. BMW motors are often underrated and can have more HP at the crank than BMW claims.

ive seen some m3s at 280 whp, but 333 is hp i think. well, some say 333, some say 340. when it comes down to it, its what you got at the wheel!
