Ive got an 08 535i, I was wondering if I can update the Nav and the display to the new one like on the 2010 535i. Anyone have any suggestions, possibly some kind of firmware update or something. If so how much and where can I have this done. Here are a couple of pics to show you what im talking about. 1st pic is the old Nav screen and 2nd pic is the new Nav screen. Thanks!

good luck no one has done it as far as i know but its pretty much an overhaul of the system since they are using newer and faster components

+1 but iirc EAS was looking in to this mod...

We have performed this retrofit, it will require a new CIC drive and CID display (now HD), as well as coding to make everything compatible and compatible with your vehicle order.

So far, we are the only ones in the country performing these retrofits. Contact me directly if interested.
