watched it several times already...torn between this and a 911 turbo...it will really come down to the engine/power potential for this 1m.

Someone with a really sharp set of eyes spotted this on another board. Looks like the new 1M will get some sort of side vents like its older brothers (M3, M5, M6 etc.

But will that be another legendary trademark or trend setter from BMW?

If this effort from BMW moves out like EAS's 1 Series sled, it will be very fast indeed. What has been revealed so far, I like! I can't wait to read the reviews on it.

Oooohhhhh... Looks sweet! Wait a second though, if the 1M Series car looks this good, imagine if the same treatment is applied to the next twin turbo V8 M3? Just a thought that's all......

IIrc yes its a 6 cylinder for the the next M3 and as the new M5 will have the V8:)I thought it's a 6 cylinders twin turbo ?

Just a thought, I wonder how much they invested on marketing for the 1 series, from the looks of it they spent more than the M3 and M5 combined:D

wow i just read some coo things about this car,1/2in. wider than a e92 M3. runs the nordschleife 7 seconds slower the M3 :clap: (Pretty impressive if you ask me),245/35zr19 front 265/35zr19 rear. M differential lock. Only comes in 6mt (only choice of gearbox). New vents and larger front fascia for added radiators. 1M is ****n great and only $45k :woohoo:

I believe the 335is has a factory tuned N54. They have not actually released the specs on the 1M engine yet. There have been hints the turbos will not be the same as the N54 or N55 but a completely new setup.
