We saw one at one of the meets in NorCal but didn't have time to meet the owner....that thing is badass!
Off of Dinan Website...
S3 PACKAGE
For those seeking the ultimate high performance driving experience, Dinan has once again redefined M5 performance with a 5.7 liter version of the V-10 engine producing over 600 horsepower along with a minimum of 400 lb-ft torque from just 3000 rpm to the rev-limit at 8100 rpm. Just imagine the pavement blistering acceleration that results from an additional 111 horsepower and 99 lb-ft torque. Much of the technology that has made Dinan’s Grand-Am Daytona Prototype engines both competitive and reliable has carried over to the 5.7 Liter V-10 engine program for the street, ensuring that the engines produce incredible power along with race-proven durability. Equally impressive is that all of this performance comes without sacrificing BMW-like drivability or the peace of mind that comes from matching new car warranty coverage.
The S3 package literally transforms the performance of the M5 with not only huge power gains but the cornering capabilities and stopping power that complete the equation. The impressive grip provided by the Stage 2 Suspension and Mono Ball Lower Control Arm Bearings along with the massive Dinan by Brembo brake conversion ensure that the S3-M5’s formidable power is matched by equally capable handling and stopping power. The optional Dinan 19” forged wheel and tire package is highly recommended, providing superior grip and a more neutral balance, reducing understeer for turn-in that is razor sharp.
For the most powerful, best handling mid-size sedan on the road, backed by the most comprehensive warranty available anywhere, the S3-M5 is the definitive high performance sedan for the serious driving enthusiast.

i think you will be spending more on an e46M3 and HPF stage 3 kit... But yea i know what you are saying... Could just bite the big bullet and get a g-power kit :)
plus, that isnt the price for just the stroker kit, thats everything to make the car an S3... suspension, brakes, strut bars, exhaust... etc

Ahhh thats true...but I'd be pretty hesitant if I had to fork over 58k without receiving another car in return lol

Keep in mind that this Dinan also has aftermarket SS headers, and the new Dinan free flow section 2, which gives it even more torque and a considerable amount of extra HP from the stroker kit. I estimate about, an extra 30.
So technically it is Stroker + SS headers + NEW Dinan section2
The car is fast though, stupid fast. Darren is a cool dude and it was a blast.

LOL i was reading the thread on other forum on how Dinan Stroker got bashed and even called out for a race/ test/ side by side comparisons:laughhard: and now all is well( how tides change with a simple video)...
Now my question is do think the outcome would have been different if Darren e60 M5 Dinan Stroker didn't have SS headers and Dinan Section 2 pipes when he raced Tony (RD sport kit) and Kenny (RPI kit)...

Darren's stroker is running really strong. If you subtract the headers and the new free flowing section 2, I believe it would have been much closer. Even if Kenny would have been beat by 1 or 2 cars, when comparing the cost, it is a 40K difference. But at the end of the day, all that matters is who won, right? So, it is, what it is.
I think if Rab Dog's car would have came out, it would have been a difference also. Too bad his monster was still down. "When it rains it pours, right". Because Kenny has been converted to the same set up, but has not dyno'd. I know you threw a little comment instigating that Kenny got beat like Eurocarfan on M5board, and that Kenny and Eurocarfan would be a good race. Trust me bro, Kenny has that covered, let's not mention Rab Dog.

First topic ...
Stoker motor are on different league compared to bolt on parts (Stroker Motor has constant power across the band) i'm not saying it's not possible to catch up but it's really a tough one to follow...Now RPI, Rd sport and other tuners did a good job on getting performance parts out there for a very good price compared to others but I'm not going to go were who has expensive products or who have cheap products because it boils down down to preference and budget...
Second...
Tony asked on the forum and i replied as I saw it (i don't think that's instigating or is it?) ...check the video, in your honest opinion who pulled who? and read the end of my post " it was too close to call " hence i asked if they did a pull side by side...Instigating? here go check your post :D http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=15347&postcount=14
We have to level the playing field and showcase all the different tuners and markets out there as this is one of the reason why we formed this forum and Mfest, for were people can make their choice either be it is the Very expensive or it being cheapest or who delivers the goods at the end of the day or what not...

Remember, kenny dyno'd today and made only 443whp on the dyno @ RPI... Imagine if he had the missing 20+whp and darren didnt have the headers.... it would be pretty close... But those are couldda wouldda's... RPI has a new toy in store for the e60 M5 mods... trust me... sickkest bolt on all motor mods out there

Exactly! that's the reason were doing Mfest 3 to set some of the record straight;)... That's good news RPI is doing more stuff for the E60/E63 M's:thumbsup:

My point exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it would have Rab Dog's 478HP and, and the stroker without the headers, that would have been a hell of a race! But it is what it is, stroker is stupid fast.

What does Rabdog have that Kenny does not have?
What's the update on Rabdog's car? hope he get it sorted out before the dyno day at VF...

both cars are set up exactly the same. But Rab Dog, has consistently had a stronger motor. Regardless, looks like it is time to diagnose Kenny's problem. Because nearly a 30 HP difference is too far off the map.
Rab Dog's car is still down. The actuator was on backorder. Hope he can get up and running soon, because we also have a track day on the 17th.
