So I went to the LA Autoshow during Media Press day couple of days ago.

During the unveiling of the 2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible, I spotted a familiar figure in a gray suit. This guy is Shiro Nakamura, the lead designer on the Nissan GT-R project. I was in awe and star-struck to see him there.

There were many other models that made their debut at the show but here are other stuff that caught my attention:

Mansory actually had a booth at the show. They brought 5 cars I think including their 599, couple of astons, bentley gt and this SLR.

If any of you get to see this car in person, check out the carbon fiber they used. It has the biggest twill weave I've seen, a lot bigger than the typical 2x2 twill.

Jon, thanks for taking the time to process and share these photos so quickly. I am blowing off work in the morning to go to the show, I hope it's not busy. Love the carbon on the SLR, nice how they didn't over do it.

Got a chance to go yesterday & bumped into a few familiar faces like my buddy working at the BMW booth and SYCO GT + his pal. IMHO, the BMW booth was a bit disappointing this year (The fact that they didn't debut the new Z:mad: :D)
