This kinda falls under the Motorsport & Racing section, but since it's a corporate change I think it can go here for a bit.
The biggest change will be the retirement of Dr. Mario Theissen from the role of Director of BMW Motorsport. Dr Theissen has spent his entire career with BMW and held the office of Director of Motorsport for over 10 years since ascending to the position in 1999. His replacement has been named as 43 year old Jens Marquardt. Both Theissen and Marqurdt will share the Director roll from January 1st to June 30th to ease the transition of the role and effective July 1, 2011, Marquardt will take over full duties as Director of Motorsport.
