Ok, so gas has dropped over the past 40 days, 91 octane is now $2.40 a gal, half the price it was over the summer. TRAFFIC SUCKS, we have fallen back into our old habits. I understand that our pubilic transit system is bad, but it was a lot nicer to drive in S Cal when gas was $5/ gal.

On a side note SoCal has way too many bad drivers >.<
People need to stay out of the passing lane or move over when I'm coming up behind them fast >.<
And use their blinkers when making a turn and pulling over rather than making me slow down to 5 mph so they can make their right turn arghh!

Ok, i don't know what you are smoking but stay away from that stuff it's bad for your health! I'm sure majority like to see the gas prices continues to go down more so we can participate more events :D.

i don't agree with as needing to be more expensive but i do agree we have some horrible drivers. what we need are tougher regulations and requirements to get a license like in europe (its ridiculously difficult in finland) imo.

I kinda agree with G:D come to think of it were wasting more gas sitting in traffic these days than when it was <$5 a gallon...note: Gbogh3 only fills up with 100 octane so he's used to paying higher gas :laughhard:

Ok, you must be smoking the same bad crap too :D. If he Gbogh3 only fills up with 100 octane then he is balling :laughhard:

Nah we don't smoke bad crap we just think differently...:laughhard:
My take is 60 to fill up (when the gas was <$5) same route the whole week lasts me 1 week or 8 days= expensive but get's me from point A to point B in no time...these days $40 to fill up and last me 4 days same scenario and route (sitting in traffic most of the time)= waste of time and i had to fill up before the end of the week

i don't know where you guys are driving...i drive from long beach to costa mesa 6 day a week and to me traffic is always the same...monday's & thursdays always real bad friday and tuesdays ok and wed always chill....my denali(daily driver) gets filled up 3x a week so with the gas prices down i'm only spending 75 bucks 3x a week instead of 105 bucks 3x a week so thats 360 bucks a month...now that 360 bucks goes towards all my toys, whether it be new wheels for the ride, headrest monitors for the kiddy's or another ps3 for the guest bedroom for when the wife is mad at me....so the cheaper the gas is the more money i get to play with.....daddy needs a new pair of shoes!!!!!

Seriously, I'd like to pick up a beater, so when people make stupid moves like turning from inside left lane and ending up in outside left turn lane when I'm right there and have to swerve out from them I can just ram into their car.

+1 that'd be nice. Much more difficult and expensive over there to drive. That would help tremendously, + retests every XX amount of years.

Dave,
First off, your rides are so SiCk! (denali with crazy Hp/ tq) that i wouldn't mind filling them up:D...I'm from West L.A and drive to OC, Irvine, Santa Ana on odd hours mostly rush hour and i noticed the significant increase traffic this past few weeks, i had to travel 2 hours just to get to Huntington Beach which is just 40 miles away (normally the same time and days i can drive up there in 40-1 hour minutes with traffic)...

Yes only 100 goes in the tank of the M5, sometimes I slum it and have to use 91 ;) That would be any MFEST Weekend. :D
I drive from Thousand Oaks to OC and SD. I am 90 miles from John Wayne and 180 from SD. When you start hearing about US drivers driving 11 billion miles less during a 30 day time from when gas was higher, you have to start thinking to yourself, WTF! If $$$ was so important to them, they should have similair habits and continue to save $$$ and not just go back to the routine. :banghead:
my denali(daily driver) gets filled up 3x a week so with the gas prices down i'm only spending 75 bucks 3x a week instead of 105 bucks 3x a week so thats 360 bucks a month...now that 360 bucks goes towards all my toys, whether it be new wheels for the ride, headrest monitors for the kiddy's or another ps3 for the guest bedroom for when the wife is mad at me....so the cheaper the gas is the more money i get to play with.....daddy needs a new pair of shoes!!!!!
This plan works for me, and its nice to hear someone who is disciplined once in a while. Although you are driving a Denali as a daily! IMO get another PS3, its only a matter of time before you will need to spend a few moments in the xtra room. :thumbsup2:

...i was reading an article on cnn.com(wicked smart i am) and it was stating that fuel officials are not sure if we reached the floor on prices but it's awfully close...but only if we could stockpile cheap gas for a rainy day...be aware this could swing back up any day now...SO DRIVE YOUR BMW'S AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT ASKING FOR CHEESE ON THE BURGER AND UPSIZING YOUR FRIES FOR IT WON'T LAST LONG!!!!!

And use their blinkers when making a turn and pulling over rather than making me slow down to 5 mph so they can make their right turn arghh!
Seriously. Why doesn't anyone seem to use their turn signals. Especially when they are coming opposite direction and they know you are waiting for them. Really, is it that much effort to flick the lever...Either rudeness, or just plain lazy...

I agree with you. I dont think gas should be more expensive, but since its so cheap, there are many more drivers back on the road, air condition is worst, more pollution, street racers back on the road more than ever, and most of all, traffic jams. People have to go so slow preventing me from freedom in my Bimmer. grrrrr!
