M owners: What 10W60 oil do you use?

One of my close friends with a E39 M5 recommended Lubro Oil 10W60 for my E46 M3. He told me that the oil is thicker than Castrol and burns lot slower, but really good for the engine.

Has anyone tried a different brand? I've been using Castrol the day i picked up the car.

That's what attracted me is that it's made in Germany.

Chris, according to you, Lubro is good. I guess I will try it next time. So, if my engine breaks down, I am coming to you.

Only Castrol like BMW recommended. I have heard of people using different brand and even density without harm to the engine at all.
