How about a Killeen MFest Track Day in Houston?

Killeen's sister organization, the Houston M Club might be putting on another track event TENTATIVELY on Oct 20th at Houston MSR in Angleton (3.5 hours away). From talking to people at the Auto-X there seems to be some interest in people doing a road course.

So there might be a "Killeen only" run group if we can must about 15 cars and drivers. Expect cost to be around $200ish and it has been 1/2 day in the past. Not sure how it will be this time if they add a 4th group. Could be a full day.

This event is less formal and instruction is available. You can also ride with the advanced drivers and instructors.

So come on out and drive! At least let me blow the doors off your car as I pass you! Actually just gauging interest at this point.

lol, you KNOW I would be down if i was home.....

My Track experience was AWESOME and my HPF M3 performed powerfully and flawlessly ;-)

my little fender bender was minimal enough to inspire me to be better prepared my next track event so for those pondering or on the fence..DO IT.

STOP POSING and test those parts we all spend so much money on and see if they do what the manufacturer profess they do and have fun doing it!

It happens. I went through a brand new set of street pads in 6 session on my first track event. I was also running on these super crappy tires.

Brakes and tires are the most important!
