A Little TLC on M3

Hey thanks guys... I am from NM. The M I picked up for a little over 12k with just over 103K miles.

As for what has been done to the car so far...
-new crank
-new chain
-new head( wanted a second head so I could have another one built and still be to able to drive around)
-VAC thermal coated bearings
-Carrillio Pro-H beam Rod w/WMC bolts
-CP X-Froged pistion W/the heaveyduty pins 10:1 compression
-.04 head gassket
-ARP L-19 head bolts
-Oil pump up grade from VAC with the larger sump pick up gear
-95A polyurathane engine and trany mount busings
-Salari water pump for now.
-SPEC stage 2 cluth
-OEM BMW front and rear seals

It has certainly been an interesting learning curve esspecailly with the dame head.
I just ordered all my reinforcement plates for the front and rear end. Next will be a cooling system with an offset electric fan from Zionsville Auto Sports in Indiana.

After that I want to drop the first suparcharger kit into it so I can get rid of the sluggishness from the lowered compression. On that note I have been resarching for the past three months on what to get and I have pretty much narrowed it down to VF Engineering's kit because I really want to keep the car looking as stock as possible, from the outside anyway. Any input on them?

The plan from there is to go thru the entire suspension and redo all the bushings, change out the front sway bar, and put a set of coilovers so I can matain stock hieght, most of the time. Then do a big brake kit. Fallowed by changing the final gear to a 3.92. Then move into a stage two system from VF, perhaps by the time I get there the stage 3 kit will be out.

Speaking of the supercharger kit...I just stumbled across RMS anybody have any input on them? I can't find whole lot...

Last question...Pros and cons of a light wieght fly wheel. I have read some things on how they cause crank damage and mess with the harmonic balance of the motor?

Any input would be appriceated not alot around NM, Just a ton of bomb ass mountain roads and flat open space!

Excited for your build thread! I hear VF is the best for S/C and iirc they have a sale going on right now. Only thing in your build aspirations i have experience with is BBK. I have the stoptech ST-40. Excellent kit and i HIGHLY recommend it, especially if you ever want to go 18" wheel down the line, like i do. 6 piston require 19" which equals heavier rotating mass.

Nice I have looked at the stop tech but was not to sure of there reliability on german cars I have used stop tech on my american made cars with no issues. I have 19 inch rims already, two sets. I love the deep dish look but I do not like the rims that are on it now they are just to goddy i suppose.
