Inductor problem with my LED taillights

Alright, I am working on a taillight setup that has a "brake light out" warning indicator on the dash. If there isn't enough current going through the system, the warning led strip lighting turns on. The way it works is that the current from the taillights goes through the wound section of the inductor and the sensing wire goes through the middle of the wound wire to the brake light control module in the car. Now that I put led light in, the brake light warning shows up all the time. I know I can put a load resistor in the circuit, but I don't want to deal with that. Is there any way to trick the inductor into thinking the the brakes are on the whole time, and not that one of the bulbs has gone out?fluorescent led bulbs

Thank You
