Hello from Paris, people. Been a 12 year BMW guy now and club member. As signature says I am the HPDE Events Chair for the Lone Star Chapter of the BMWCCA, a BMWCCA instructor, and Street Survival Instructor. Loving every minute of it.

Street Survival is a program put on by TIRE RACK that teaches kids from 18-21 how to properly handle THEIR car in real world situations. Its held on a Saturday. There are 6 seperate stations to teach the kids from skid pad, lane change, ABS braking, slalom, figure 8 and others. We teach the student in THEIR car the limits of their car. Most have no clue what ABS braking is or how it works, they don't understand what causse a car to skid and how to correct it. You can read more about it on TIRERACK.COM website

Wish I could make it to Dallas today, but like you I am 2 1/2 hours away also. Maybe a big C & C, July 4th cookout in Dallas on the 7th could be organized! I will work on it.
