I understand your point of view. As mentioned earlier I like it for me. It is not for everyone and that is okay. Before I had this mount I used the one provided. It was up above the rear view mirror on the right side along with my other V1 in my truck. The V1 in the truck is using the consealed display so it does not really matter but I just like this new mount so much better. Trying to get the V1 straight with two suction cups is not as easy as the one with a single suction cup. I like things easier . In my car with the standard mount it was harder to push the mute button and adjust my mirror at time. With this mount I am currently using I do not have any of those issues.

If we ever meet up at a local meet feel free to take a look in person. It really looks good in my opinion.

When I said "Cops/CHP won't like it", I meant instead of giving you warnings, they usually wouldn't give you any chance.

Based on experience, those law enforcement can pull you over even if you're not doing anything wrong.
Sometimes they just want to see your car and let you go without warning/tickets...
Mostly highly modified cars.

I got pulled over once, just because one of the officer also drives an M3.
He asked about my parts and whether or not I'd be attending Bimmerfest that weekend, and let me go after.

The whole point is, even though radars are legal, it's better if it's concealed.
If you have jammer, it MUST be concealed

Here you can see where radar detectors are legal and illegal in certain states as well as countries.
