Been working on small details.







Had some left over material from when I did the A,B, & C pillars on the E46, so I figure why not.











Weather strip that surrounds the door frame should be here in about 2 mos. Special order from Germany through BMW. Sill strip should look much better once I have those installed.

Last time it was raining I noticed a slight mildew smell and moisture coming from the trunk mostly from the drivers side rear tail light. Went ahead and replaced the gaskets for both sides.






Had sound deadner installed. Both side doors, rear quarter panels, behind rear seats for the trunk, and the rear quarters of the trunk. Much better for those long drives. May do the roof of the car later not sure yet.


Ordered these, H&R OE sports springs. Ordered them through ECS Tuning. They are only a 1 inch drop which is what I was looking for.



Then I said fvck it. Got the shock mounts, bumper stops, sleeves, KYB front shocks, and engine mounts. Had the drive belt and pwr steering hose replaced as well.

Will take a picture of how it's sitting right now sometime tomorrow. Rides great though.

Lastly. Got the IS valance from Bavarian Auto Recycling. It's not OEM but it's brand new so I could care less. Vents that go right next to the fog lights should be in on Monday. Hopefully, if all goes well, I can finally have this mutha mutha painted sometime next week.

Great progress Ian! How much was the valence? I'm debating whether to get mine straightened out or to just get another. Hope I can paint mine next month.
