Tire buying advice?

I'm getting new tires for my E46 M3. My question to you: Is it better to get 285 rear tires and 255 front tires in Michelin Pilot Sport 2s, or 275 rear tires and 245 front tires in Michelin Super Sports? The Super Sports are a better tire, but don't come in as large of a size.

I got a pretty good deal from Davis Brothers' Tire Pros: all four tires, installed, with alignment for about $1600 and a mail-in rebate for $100 from Michelin (they're running a promo into September or October, I believe). Most shops I called couldn't even acquire the Super Sports in 19s, and BMW Beverly Hills (where I go for service) said they couldn't do an alignment because of my strut brace. Davis Brothers did it all quickly and without hassle, which was nice.

As for the tires: I could immediately tell the difference. On my way to getting the tires replaced I did burnouts at every stop and slid some corners to have some fun with the last of my rubber. On the way back, I hit some corners harder than I ever have in this car without so much as a peep from the tires. I've also been able to get on the power much sooner without any loss of traction, both in a straight line from a standstill and when downshifting through the apex of corners. The whole car just seems more planted and glued to the road than before. And to top it off, the car looks even more aggressive with the wider tire.
