Steve Jobs battle pancreatic cancer?
Didnt know Steve Jobs was battling cancer for 4 years now...I have handled cases like this in the past and theres only one procedure for this to prolong life (2-3 yrs and only a handle or less doctors can perform this type of sugery iirc) and an expensive one aswell...it's called the whipple procedure

i'm in the same boat as you Chris... cause we come from Medical BG we know wassup.

But one thing i've realized and i'm sure you have too... if you've got the money, almost anything can be done to prolong your life. I'm sure he will spend endless amounts of money for research and to do as much as he can to prolong his own life.

i wish him well in the battle.

Oh wow, I did not know that either, he "should" have the best doctor, especially since he is very wealthy. I hope everything works out for him, especially for those die hard Apple fanatics.

My mother recently passed away from pancreatic cancer. She was seeing the same Dr. at Stanford that Jobs and is seeing and in the past, Patrick Swayze. Unfortunately, chances of beating this type of cancer are very slim. Money can only get you to see the best specialist, but in the end they are not miracle workers. It is a tough disease.

Heard this awhile back, many of people are worrying about what will happen without Steve Jobs on Apple's corner. Really sucks cause I support Apple products. I believe this is his second medical leave. Hope he gets better
