Mfest V Track day (Saturday) check list

To all Mfesters:

As everyone knows we hired Speed ventures to run the event with us for Mfest V and they sent us this forms for the track guys to fill up and bring on Saturday at the track.

Tech inspection form

There are very few requirements for cars to run on the track. If you are planning on driving an SUV or truck, please email us to obtain permission. The requirements are:

Convertibles must have either OEM/Factory roll protection or Aftermarket roll protection. Allowed convertibles in stock form include cars with substantial roll hoops (eg. Honda S2000, BMW Z3/Z4, Porsche Boxster) and pop-ups (eg. late model Carrera/911 Cabriolets and BMWs). If you are unsure whether your convertible meets our safety requirements, please contact us before signing up.
The car must be in good working order and NOT LEAKING ANY FLUIDS.
Either a TOW HOOK or some TOW POINT is mandatory on the FRONT and REAR of your car before going out on track. The important thing is that you have a place picked out for the FRONT and REAR that we can hook on to in order to tow you off track. Please determine appropriate tow points - it is your responsibility and we will not be responsible for any damage done to your car!
You must have a helmet (or rent one from us). Any Snell rated (95 or newer) helmet (M or SA) is allowed. SA95 or newer are required. If you do not have a Snell rated helmet, you can rent one from us. Open face helmets ARE permitted. As of January 1, 2010, we will only allow Snell 2000-rated helmets or newer.
You must bring a fully filled out TECH FORM to the track, available here. You may tech your car yourself, or have your shop do it if you are not qualified. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to arrive with a safe, sound vehicle.
You must have NUMBERS, at least 8" high, on both sides of the car AND on the back of the car (viewable by other drivers). We provide either Racers Tape (free) or numbers (for a fee) at the track.
Battery must be securely fastened down (they are on all cars from the factory).
Tires:
Street tires must be in good condition, with at least 2/32 of tread remaining. NOTE: 2/32 is probably not enough to get you through a day at the track!
Race tires must be in good condition, with no cord showing.
You must have 3-point seatbelts, or better, in good condition.

How the heck am I supposed to fit all of that in the back of an M Coupe?!

haha j/k Space is already tight for the list i've got going.

SO EXCITED!! Quick question so now they require 3 stickers on the car that represent the number on the race track???

No two will be fine, were using the Mfest ones we're getting custom made so everyone cars will look top notch instead of the blue tape

Laidback: We sent payment for our number 98and asked for shipping. Any idea when they will be shipped (We are in Florida)? Getting the rest of the car with vinyls for our drive out there.

Guys and gals make sure to print a copy of the attachent and go over the rules and things to bring..

We should have them by Monday, if not we will give it out on at the registration...
