E60 M5 LCI Headlights and Tail lights retrofit

Before Mfest V i opted for a facelift and went with the LCI headlights (thanks to Arnold and Mark@Pacific BMW for getting (all) the parts on time and great customer service and knowledgeable when it comes to OEM parts and etc ) installed by Mfest bradah Kautiongsr aka Julio...Tailights (Thanks to Tom and Steve @ EAS) for the ordering and installing the tail lights Hann@ STM for installing the clear film on the headlights ...

Ok this is were it gets interesting

First problem was the tailights don't light up like they should on a normal LCI
Second problem was the headlights were working but the angel eyes don't
Third problem is i have multiple check front right and left lamps, Check right and left Tailight...I knew this would happen as everyone warned me about the possible faults so didnt bother with it as the car is ready to go to Mfest V.

NOTE: ALL INSTALL, WIRES, LIGHTS AND WHAT NOT WERE DONE PROPERLY BY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS AND NO MICKEY MOUSE CUTTING OF WIRES AND INSTALL

I scheduled an appointment last friday at EAS and dropped Sabine ( E60 M5 project car) off so Tom can get down and busy as i know clearing this codes will take alot of time, patience and understanding on BMW electronics (not too worried as i know Tom is up for the challenge )...After much thought, programming from EAS... I finally now have a full working LCI headlights and LCI Taillights with out using resistors, Tom was able to do it through the computer No codes and the headlights and tail lights are working 100% (Check pics below)

I didnt opt for the DIY as i don't want to mess up the wiring and what not (not too familiar with it) and left it to the professionals to handle it, but if your handy and familiar with wires then i would recommend trying to DIY but you've been warned The encoding and what not for the codes and for everything to work out? I would highly bring to professionals who HAVE DONE this before period

Here's the list that EAS have done:

- e60 LCI Headlight/Taillight Retrofit, including LM2 module and Coding

Custom Coding:
- Turn off BulbCheck to LED Sidemarkers (non-flicker)
- Allow Angel Eyes to remain at FULL power when headlights are powered on (no dimming)
- Blinker indicator in HUD Display
- ACCEPT turned off in iDrive menu upon startup
- Remote Folding Mirrors
- Remote Windows
- True Car speed in Digital Display (non-corrected)
- True Fuel Mileage in Digital Display (non-corrected)
- Flash to Pass with Bi Xenons
- Enabled Weatherband in radio selections

Amber in headlamp brows were left illuminated as requested.

thanks for the tips. i want to do LCI upgrade soon, whats the difference with the way you got them fitted and using the plug and play method ("bruce miranda" i think its called) are there any cons to the plug and play method? either way after thinking about it the headlights and taillights from the LCI really do make a big change! sabine is looking sick. i recommend LED license plate lights.

I've seen Sabine and Gunther transformation.
The headlight is CLEANNNN.
Such a simple headlight change makes a huge difference.

I advise you all to clear bra them before installation tho, so much easier that way.
Ali, do it!!

Here's some higher res photos:

As you can see, the AEs no longer dim when the headlights are turned on - maintaining full power.
