I found this interesting as the 1 series was suppose to b the e30s come back but I think what they r trying to say is that the last REAL 3 series was the e30

I understand what you're saying, but the 1 series was only being compared to the e30 as it had lots of smilarities in its size, handling, etc.

A 1 series is compared to the E30 due to characteristics, but it isnt a direct descendant of the E30

I just went last week to check out the F30 and it looks damn good in and the sport model feels real nice to sit in! I have heard nothing but good things in about the F30 in a ll the reviews I have watched.. **** I mean the 335i is quicker then my M3 (E46) was when it was brand new!
