That interior has gone from shocking to stunning, love the color!

that was a big decision for me when i got the car, whether to get an auto or manual. i do alot of commuting between West LA/Long Beach/OC, so i figured my left leg would thank me for choosing an auto. however, as soon as i graduate i plan on getting a brand new ///M car (def manual and/or SMG) and convert this one to be a track car...or at least thats the dream

Great read! I'm glad you decided to keep the car and bring life back into it. A lot of people would have gave up or looked the other way entirely. I understand where you're coming from and the love for these cars is definitely unending. Awesome turnout man! Mad props.

Much appreciated kev, i've always thought the e36 had some of the best lines in its design. I want to keep the car for the rest of my life and slowly turn it into an absolute BEAST. Maybe i can win that raffle for the VF supercharger discount at MFEST VI lol. I'm looking forward to seeing other e36s at vegas, maybe get some inspiration and new ideas!

Awesome! That's great to hear. I'll probably be swinging by the west la meets soon so hopefully I'll run into you sometime. Would love to see your car in person.

yea, i think the initial incentive made sense, and it's a great "first car." however i disagree with you because when you get your e90/2 (or even f30?) I foresee you tracking THAT car and turning the e36 into a DD. Especially after you've taken the e36 on the track a couple of times you'll realize the limitation of the AT and then out of "curiosity" run the e9x and it will be a whole new game haha (oh and go with MT, I think you'd regret the SMG).
