My introduction - Turby89 (Alisteir)

No, jk, I am not from Russia.

Hey MFEST community,
I thought I would write an introduction as most people can assume as to why I am here from my posts already.

A basic summary of me.

- I love sports. I wakeboard, surf, play soccer, cricket and rugby.
- I am from the small islands of Turks & Caicos Islands. (It is located south of Bahamas and North of Jamaica (yes I am white) with a population of about 35,000 people).
- 1/4 American, 1/4 Ecuadorian and 1/2 English. Yet I'm from the Caribbean. No-one knows what I am.
- In Turks & Caicos there is no fast-food, no Walmarts, NO American stores.
- I do a lot of freelance photography
- I do a lot of stock photography.
- I NEVER use photoshop on my pictures unless it's to remove say a dirt mark on the lens, etc. I believe natural beauty is the best beauty.
- I have published my own book.
- I am a photographer for www.istockphoto.com and Samsung Int.
- I have been working since I was 12.
- I graduated highschool when I was 16.
- I go by the name of "Turby89". Turby (Turbyfield) and 89 (My hockey number) on forum sites.
- My nickname is "Chico Blanco"
- I <3 Boobies. (On females).

- MFEST VI will be my first ever MFEST and first time in Las Vegas.

I look forward to being welcomed into this community and hope to see a long warm stay here.

Ps: No I do not own a BMW. I owned a 2000 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition on 24s (white on white that's Ross) with a kick ass sound system. What is the point in owning a fast/nice car when it takes 28 minutes to drive from one side of the island to the other? Plus half the roads = dirt and if you get into a fight with someone, your car gets ****ed up. Not worth it.

Welcome aboard turby. Glad to have you here. You mentioned in the U21 thread Chris picked you for the official MFEST VI photographer. Can we see some of your work?

Nothing is official until announcement has been made.
He is just another member who does photoshoots, that's it.

I am curious to see some of your work! Being the official photographer, you must have some serious talent and a first class portfolio! Congrats once again and I can't wait to see some of your work.

Well I actually specialize in event photography. So that is why Chris has brought me along. All his photographers specialize in cars. So why not have a photographer to cover the actual event? People having fun, showing off their cars, etc.

That is what I will be capturing.

But I have shot cars before! Don't get me wrong, haha! I do know a lot about photography and have done many things. I actually worked for Samsung Int. in Busan, South Korea in 2011. Not something a typical 18 year old would do.

I will upload some later!

I look forward to meeting you at MFEST too! You can't miss me! Haha!

But @EveryoneElse Thank you! It seems to be a great community here!
