Thinking of getting a 135i dct..

I had a few questions for you 135i owners and 1m owners..

Is their a way for the 1m aftermarket quad exhausts to fit the 135 rear end or is it a full different set up underneath?

Also is their a way to order the 1 series with a custom factory color? Such as Dakar yellow, Estoril blue, or techno violet as an individual or any special colors need to be done aftermarket

1M exhaust will not fit 135 unless heavy modifications are done and for custom colors, i'm not too sure. anyone wanna chime in on that?

Okay that what I was thinking was gunna be said.
I wanna go with a quad set up when I get the car and figured a 1m exhaust if it would fit would bea good route.
I've only seen about 2 or 3 quads for the 135 that sound decent

you can get a 135i in any color but you will have to go BMW indiv route and that will cost you roughly 5k just for the paint. Plus you will need to make sure you pick a CA that knows what they are doing and are familiar with BMW Indiv process its very in depth.

You can also get any 135 and vinyl wrap it as well.

If you need any help or quotes feel free to shoot Ryan an email he can take care of you. just let him know your a MFESTer so he knows to quote you at discounted price

^^+1 on hitting up Steve Thomas BMW if you decide on going with the indiv. route or not.

and there's quite a bit of quad options out there for the 135 that look great. i personally like the look of the Hartge quad exhaust and diffuser.

I'd buy a used 1M and repaint the car with any color that I like.
Individual costs about $5k, so does a paint job.
Used 1M in the market are usually low milage anyway, but they only come in 6MT.

Still, you can't compare between non-M and ///M cars.
Totally different animal.

Golffrr, I'll be emailing to get some more infor...thank you!

Indian, I've looked for used 1M's....they are obscurely over priced for the ones that are actually for sale in my area, so that unfortunately is out of the question for me

I'll send this to my friend. He owns a 1 series and it's amazing. It is a tad bit small though. Not much room in the back, but plenty of space for 2 people. Fast car, reminds me of a go-kart.
