Post ESStuning

From Asbjorn@ESSTuning

The E92 M3 kit showed is the initial hand made prototype, finished product will have cast aluminium intake plenum, cast aluminium main SC bracket and casted plastic induction system for the SC unit. Final production components are currently being manufactured.

We also tested this kit on 9PSI running pump 93 fuel only, the dyno is attached.

As far as normal RWHP on the E92 M3, it ranges from 335 to 360 depending on octane quality used, we used 93US for our initial testing. 270-295rwhp was the E46 M3 power output. We have one 6sp test car (from which these dynos came) and also one DCT.

The E39 M5 kit has been completed and will be released shortly. It will develop 550-570hp depending on fuel quality used and it will sell for USD 8995.

The E60 M5 kit will share several design elements with the E92 M3 kit and is expected to be ready later this year.

As far as the E39 540 kit goes, we have sold over 250 of these worldwide since 1998 and they have always performed flawless. If you know somebody with issues on this kit I recommend you have them call use as it is for sure an easy fix. Most likely bad MAF meter or boost leak somewhere.

i'm excited... i can't wait til they release this kit for the E9x.

Sounds like most of the SC kits will be release around the same time, if not within a few months of eachother. G-Power, ESS, VF & AA are all doing their testing. Where shall i spend my money when the times comes :hmm:
