What made you decide to buy an e36?

My first Bimmer was back in 2001. It was an E36 318is.

I bought it because it was all I could afford, keeping in mind that I would have to pay for expensive maintenance and parts.

Then a few years later I got a E36 325i that I had to rebuild the engine. I learned a lot about our cars with that one.

Now I am happy with my 330cic for now, I just wish it was supercharged!

I love the way our cars handle, but I grew up with muscle cars (I used to have a 94z28 and a '69 Z28)....so I miss having the power!!

My first was 1994 325i. Still remember my old plate! 3JSY022... Black on black. Unfortunately, drove it for a year and then Cinqo De Mayo 1995, some drunk bitch ran me off the road -> Total Loss... RIP...

I had bought my e36, not knowing anything about BMW's LOL. I bought it from my cousin for $5,000 in early 2005 w/ 175k miles and the head gasket blew like 3 months later... he ripped me off, i know... But anyways 3 years later I still love the car.

Now at 243k miles, I still love the car and have many plans for it.
1. Paint job 2. Re-build Suspension 3. Upgrade brakes to 330i setup all around 4. Customize the interior 5. Rebuild engine once I buy a house and another DD bmw.

My Mugello Red E36 M3, delivered August 6th, 1994...I'll never own a ride that means more to me. I am forever bonded to that car by the fun I've had driving it and owning it.
