4/30/09 Thursday night meet

NEXT GTG : April 30,2009

This is the official Starbucks gtg post so check in for sates and time etc

Alright well the Tommy's GTG has moved to the Starbucks in La Canada. I talked to Management at Starbucks and they said its perfectly cool for us to meet. Every Saturday they have hot rods show up and don't see a problem with us Vw/Audi guys showing up and having a good time. As long as we keep everything cool and act mature we can hang out there.

This spot has 3 levels of parking which is great. Plenty of room for people and all. At one point we had about 130 cars.

Starbucks is now ever LAST Thursday of every month here are the dates for each month for this year

April 30,2009

Coming From 210 East (Valley Area Simi, Chatsworth)

Exit Ocean View Blvd.

Turn Right onto Ocean View Blvd.

Left onto Honolulu Ave

Honolulu turns into Verdugo Blvd. and the GTG will be on your left hand side

Coming From 101 South (Thousand Oaks)

Take 134 East

Merge onto Ca-2 North

Exit Verdugo when you exit the gtg will be straight ahead

Coming from 10 West (Ontario Area)

Mere onto the 57 North

Mere onto the 210 West

Exit Ca-2/ Angeles Crest

Right onto Foothill Blvd

Left on Verdugo and the GTG should be on you right hand side

Coming from 210 west (Pasadena, Monrovia, Rancho Area)

210 West

Exit Ca-2/ Angeles Crest

Right onto Foothill Blvd

Left on Verdugo and the GTG should be on you right hand side

The Starbucks is right Across the street from the Verdugo Hospital.You will also notice a United Artist Theater, it is in the same parking lot as the theater. We will be meeting at t he far north west corner of the parking lot. Please do not park near the business so customers can have easy access to businesses in that area

!!Also Please NO Racing, Burning Out etc!!

Posting this for my buddy, this is the meet he hostess. I use to be in the Audi/Vw scene and this meet gets good. He asked me to help get some bimmers to show. Its basically an all Euro meet with a lot of great peeps and cars. Hope to see u guys there, lets have MFEST rep.

I remember this starbucks =)...

It was 4-5 years ago when I first met the OG MFesters here...I'm down to go to this meet even though it's hella far from me! But this is where it all started for me!

brian, i'm down..not sure if i'll have my car on the 30th but i'll try to make it out either way! & since it's on thursday maybe we could move the West LA dinner meet here this one week....??

LOL i remember that it was March 3th 2007 Raff organized it and there was a a pretty good turn out...that is when Jbss was just starting to take pics...

Yup, that is correct... Jbss just got his license and e39... we hand many more tourings show up back then. I will probably be down... to rep ///MFest.

I will invite the guy I sold my e30 to come down as well, he lives in the area.

Bro it was early 06, I had to fly to Manila that night right after the meet.

Then after that was the BBQ meet at Need4Speed Motorsports.

Either way it was fun, and if you guys are at this meet... I will be there as well.

Nice to know all the history that took place here. This was originally the Tommys meet in Eagle rock but it got too crowded so they had to move it to this lot. Well hope all of u can make it so we can have some Mfest peeps reppin.
