Picture of A well taped car?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could post a picture of an M well taped up with painters tape. About to take another car for a 700mile drive and it needs to be taped up very well. Also, if any parts are not shown in the picture that you think should be taped up please let me know. It doesn't have to be any specific M.

Thanks a lot guys

From a paint perspective tape up anything painted that could be struck by a rock projected from a vehicle in front of you. Chrome grills and lamp lenses are susceptible as well but you most likely need your lamps during the drive. Mirrors, handles and the pillars around your windshield are commonly struck by sand and/or rocks as well. DO NOT cover any air intake vents to your engine, brakes or a/c system. If you do not have freshly painted parts and/or do not expect a drive littered with rocks or gravel this all is over precautious. DO NOT use anything other than blue painters tape unless you have experience otherwise. Good luck.

Here's my M when I drove it back from Houston.
Covered the bumper, fenders, hood, mirrors, A pillars, and front 6 inches or so of the roof.

Be aware though... rain will peel the tape right off. Not a pretty sight, but my car made it home to Phoenix without any chips.

Here is my GTI before going up to SF.
Covered a quarter of the front end and the mirrors.

Hey Nathan,
How about the stuff that new cars come the factory with? You've seen it before, like on cars being trucked from the factory to dealerships. It's like a solid sheet of tape that has the consistency of a plastic garbage bag.

Ok last question, tape is going on tomorrow and I was wondering,
How difficult is it to remove the tape? It'll be on an s550 so there will be a lot of it to remove, so any tips to taking it off after the drive?

It won't be difficult at all, the blue tape will come right off.
