what car after a e46 m3
I have a m3 now and want something different. I really like a 06 sti because of the awd and it having a turbo so more power is a bit cheap but I am also interested in a 335xi because of again the awd and the turbo. I know they are two very different cars but what is your take on the two cars. I heard the xi is a bit heavy and a bit slower compared to the regular I. What are some of your guys thoughts on this or other cars I might have missed. Thanks

Unless you live somewhere where it snows, AWD makes sense. If not, then RWD will do you justice.

i've been contemplating this too for quite awhile now. although, i'm not ready to dive in for another couple years, i given it some thought. I think i'm going to wait on the next generation M3 when it comes out. rumors i've heard is that they're going back to INLINE 6 and throwing FI on it. who knows, but that's one choice. the other car would be a Porsche GT3. I've always loved their design and it seems like it just gets better every year.

What are you looking for in your next car? just FI and AWD?

To be honest I want to keep my E46 M3 and in a few years get a second car. I'm thinking I want the new Corvette ZR1, supercharged, small block, 6.2L, with 640hp and best of all 600 ft/lbs torque That would be bad, but that's once my M3 is done (VF Stage 2).
