Thinking of getting an e30 what to look for?
I am thinking of getting one but i haven't decided which year?

Raff is an unknown quantity at this point
Maintenance is not to bad, pretty easy do it yourself most of the time. Even valve adjustments are not bad on the e30. Doing upgrades and looking for parts is pretty easy. Craigslist and junk yards are the best bet.
Ex. I did a full tranny swap to a manual on my e30, and all the parts found on criagslist for $300.
When ever you get one, I know lots of places to get part for these cars.
