Hey all, I'm new here but thought I'd get a thread going of the folks from Colorado that are headed to mfest. We can use the thread to organize our caravan out to Vegas in April.

Dackz aka David here. Group code will be emailed. If I cant get it to work for Thursday I will call Palazzo. I plan on just staying there each night.

Whats the coming home plan? Im staying Sunday night but either at a cheap property or at a friends that lives in town and coming home Monday morning somtime.

I am in too.. We will be leaving GrandJunction sometime thurs morning. We are staying thurs to sun and then trying to decide where to go after that. This is going to be my vacation so I would like to go play golf somewhere for a couple days? I am waiting to see if anyone is going from here and to see when the denver guys will be coming through.. I will let the Denver guys coordinate a place to meet up and leave from, but I think being somewhere near the I-70, 470 area (west) around 7am would be perfect. That puts us in GJ around noon. You leave at noon with us, and we get to vegas around 6. Correct? I did the drive last summer, but dont remember what time I got to GJ. I left Loveland at 6am and got into Vegas around 5pm local time...woulda been 4 but there was an assanine police caravan escort going through that canyon outside mesquite because of a girter that was probably over 100 ft long....we got stuck going 30ish for abotu 45 minutes.

It can take 7 hours if you hit trafficc etc. but probably 6 hrs sounds right..

Only 3 at his point, maybe more.. I am way behind the 8ball on this one.. I am trying to get enthusiast together here and its been slow.. How many do you have at this point?

I think a good central place for us to meet up is at the Morrison Road exit off of I-70. There is a park and ride there so it could be a good place to meet?

Any thoughts?

That works for me. I just need to know if its a right or left from the exit when going westbound, lol. Its not like its a big deal for us but we can see what the east coast caravan plan is, whether they stop in Denver or not and such, but I think if they want to get through Denver any later then 9am then we just head out at our planned time, knowing how long it takes. 9am Denver = 8pm pulling into Vegas...Id rather get in earlier.
