Laidback is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up Congrats to Forgeline wheels!

Dayton OH, June 22, 2010 – Round 8 of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car series was held at our stomping grounds at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and we couldn't be any happier of the results of last weekend's race. Turner Motorsport has had a rough beginning for 2010 in their newly debuted BMW M6 in the GT class but the relentless perseverance was overcame by their very first victory of the season at Mid-Ohio.

Drivers Bill Auberlen and Joey Hand once again execute a beautifully orchestrated strategy put together by the TMS team with smooth transitioning pit-stops and driver changes in the blazing 150-degree interior heat. Overcoming a recent crash from Watkins Glen, the M6 was put back together and dialed in just in time for the Mid-Ohio race, "I have to hand it to the Turner Crew," said team owner and manager - Will Turner. "They were able to completely rebuild the #94 M6 in time for Mid-Ohio. Not only did they rebuild it in time, they managed to make it better than ever and give Bill and Joey a winning car today. We knew we had our work cut out for us for this weekend’s race, and the team definitely rose to the occasion."
During the 2-hour and 45-minute battle, Hand started out the race in 2nd pole position on the grid from previous qualifying and took over by the 3rd lap leading the pack of the GT class. Auberlen then took over the M6 during the full course caution where there position dropped only low enough so that Auberlen can battle out the rest of the crowd to take the lead again. The torch was eventually passed back to Hand where he made a very gutsy move to take over the lead from the Speed Source Mazda RX8 and maintain his position in the final 17 laps and take Turner Motorsport to their very first victory with the BMW M6.
TMS may have been at the top of the podium for this event but Racer's Edge Motorsports also took home a podium win for FORGELINE by placing 3rd in their #30 Mazda RX8.

To really top it off with the icing on the cake, Stevenson Motorsports made a strong finish in 5th place with their #57 Camaro GT.R.

This marks another glorious win for FORGELINE and we are ecstatic that we were able to show our presence with track side support for all of our partnered teams at this event. This past weekend's event cannot be better exemplified in the results of our products and how they're used. Only 10 more days left until Daytona Beach!
