You bring an interesting point Ed, seems like all his hard work and dedication for 7 yrs was not enough for Cleveland, yet alone was critisize by the Cleveland Cavs owner of a quitter on the Eastern conference finals between Boston Celtics and yet wanted him to sign Lebron for a maximum $130 M for six years, kinda weird doesn't it?..

Yes, he grew up in akron but how many max-players play in their hometown?? At least he stayed with the team that drafted him out of highschool instead of demanding to be traded to a big-market team on draftnight (now thats being an a-hole) and stayed for 7yrs.

Chris, all I'm saying is that when you look at it, the people of cleveland should thank lebron for 7yrs of spotlight on that city because plain and simple, he doesnt owe them anything and honestly, when was doing something in your own best interest a taboo?? The guy just wants to win a championship (dont think he ever will). Alot of guys just hate him because he doesnt play for their home team (I still remember when everyone here in LA talks so much trash about the mailman and what a dirty player that guy was or how gp was such an a-hole but the minute they came to play for us all was forgotten and we embraced them like family...same with artest and lamar)

What was up with that super runway ceremony thing where the Super Fails walked down and everything.... They haven't won or proved anything yet so why the hell are they prancing around like they're some champions? The only champion I see in that group is D Wade. Honestly, the only superstar I see in that team. How can Bosh be labeled a superstar? What the hell has he done to deserve superstar status? Only brought the Raptors to the playoffs twice with no wins. LeBron, as we know, chokes under the pressure of playoffs, and can't handle the heat (heh heh) when the going gets tough. D. Wade is the only one there with champion experience, but is cowering behind Bosh and LeBron. Funny, they are all hoping that each other will help them win a ring, with them having no confidence in themselves to win a ring on their own.

Remember, there's only 3 of them (plus Miller or Shaq or whatever player they can find). The rest of their team isn't stacked enough to support them. So sorry team Super Fail, but I predict you won't make it through semi's this year.

Watching the 3 of them (LJ, Wade and Bosh) reminds me of the time when KG and Ray joined the Celtics. Keep in mind that Pat Riley is part of the Heat who have won championships with the Lakers and the Heat, maybe he can or will help them reach their goals. I believe in Lebron, and the performance he did when they played the Spurs in the finals will never be forgotten, he single handedly carried that team in that series and now with some real help like Wade and Bosh, we're just going to have and wait for us to see what is really going to happen! nuff said!

We also witnessed LBJ crash and burn against the Celtics this past season as well. I think that the Heat will still have a hard time against the Celtics and Magic next season.

it's Shaq's fault! Cavs used to be a full court team but since Shaq joined the team they became a half court team. Shaq is clogging up the middle where Lebron can always use to attack the basket and Shaq is also slowing down the team. Celtics are not getting any younger, Magics has a shot.

Five people in the basketball court that works as a well oiled machine always gets the job done... for us outsiders, it will be a wait and see if these "stars" will be able to put aside their egos, more importantly stay HEALTHY, and work as a TEAM of five and not just THREE.

Ever heard of the expression "TOO MANY COOKS SPOIL THE BROTH..." i wonder if this collaboration of talents/stars will become a perfect epitome of this idiomatic expression

Agreed. Too much ego and superstardom might get to them causing them to fail. Also someone has to be THE shining star in the team, and there can't be 3. We will most likely have to see D Wade and Bosh take a bow from the limelight and let LBJ do a lot of the work. So, ultimately it might be up to LBJ once again to push this team to win.

Also, like above, there is more than just those 3 on the court. Plus, they have to sit eventually as well because they are not going to play them for all 48 minutes of the 82 games. So it's up to the rest of the team too to win.
