Posts Tagged e9X M3The release of the 2011 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) introduced some minor improvements to the vehicle. On the exterior side, most noticeably with the taillights. For those looking to update their lighting to update the rear of their 07-10 3-series Coupe or Convertible to appear like the 2011 models, this is the ticket! The LCI Upgrade includes Inner/Outer taillamps, trunk lamps (4 total) and Plug and Play (PnP) harnesses for a 100% bolt-in install with no wire cutting or splicing…more on here Designed under the idea of function over form, Macht Schnell is the first to develop a proven intake system that compliments the already efficient M3 air box. By replacing the restrictive stock filter with a larger, more free-flowing performance filter the engine is able to breathe air easier. Also replaced is the stock, accordion style intake elbow that connects the air box to the intake manifold. The Macht Schnell replacement Intake Charge Pipe (ICP) has very smooth and glossy interior walls and is 18% larger by volume, eliminating the turbulence and resistance that the stock elbow produces. The elbow is constructed from super strong polyethylene and has a textured exterior that perfectly matches the texture of the OEM intake manifold for a stock look. Included are Macht Schnell’s own Intake Charge Scoops, making a matched combo that provides maximum air delivery for your S65 engine with noticeable power gains. more info and were to buy HERE Alpine Motorsports recently debuts their HID angel Eyes kit for the E9x M3 and ranging from super White, Amber, Blue, Red and etc ( color of your choice ), We’ve seen this at the local meets and at car shows and we are really impress on the brightness of the angel eyes (wish BMW made them like this from factory) , they do SoCal installs but you can order online and get it shipped as they a Do it Yourself video on you tube that you can simply follow so you can install it yourself …note: no drilling or cutting (into the housing required), check out some feedback and more pics to some of the Mfesters that purchased the kit already HERE and Link for more pics/video on how to order and the DIY.
